Support the move into management

First-time managers often keep contributing the way they did before promotion: doing the work themselves. The programme helps them create clarity and results through other people instead.

Delegation becomes specific: what someone owns, where they can decide and when progress will be reviewed.

Address the conversations that shape performance

Unclear feedback and postponed conversations leave teams guessing. Managers learn to name the issue, hear the other perspective and clarify what needs to happen next: before the problem becomes a formal process.

Develop judgement and lead change

Managers rarely have complete information. They need to weigh options, explain trade-offs and know when to escalate. During change, they also need to clarify what is known, what is still open and what their people own next.

Common questions

Who buys this: HR or the business?+

Usually both are in the room. The business owns the behaviour that needs to change; L&D owns making it stick across cohorts.

Do you work outside sales functions?+

Yes. Operations, delivery and support leaders face many of the same decisions and people challenges, expressed in different language.

Group programme or individual coaching?+

Either. Most organizations run a group programme and add individual coaching for a few people who will carry the most weight.

How long does a programme run?+

Typically six half-day modules over four to six months, so leaders can practise between sessions rather than absorb everything in two days.

What size group works best?+

Twelve to twenty. Small enough that nobody hides, large enough for the peer discussion that does half the teaching.
