Sharat SharmaMaking Sales Simple

Individuals · Think through the sale

Work on the decisions behind your sales conversations.

You may know the process and still feel stuck in a deal. Coaching creates a direct, private place to examine the situation, the assumptions you are making and what you will try next.

Look beyond the obvious obstacle

A prospect asking for a discount may not be the real problem. Neither may the unanswered email or delayed decision.

We separate what you know from what you are assuming, then decide what still needs to be clarified before choosing your next move.

Work with what is on your desk

Bring a difficult conversation, a stalled opportunity or a pattern you keep repeating. We look at how you prepare, question, listen, negotiate and follow through: without turning every situation into a formula.

Make reflection useful

Insight matters when it changes what you try next. Each conversation ends with a specific action, the reasoning behind it and what you will look for afterwards.

What it isn't

It isn't therapy, and it isn't a motivational relationship. If the problem is that your product doesn't fit your market, I'll say so rather than coach you harder.

What we work through

Six coaching themes, taken in the order your deals demand.

Coaching is built around live opportunities, so the order moves with what is in front of you. Over a typical engagement these six themes all get covered.

6 themes · 60–75 minute sessions · fortnightly or monthly

Your current numbers, honestly

Session 1

A clear look at pipeline, conversion and cycle length, and agreement on the two or three numbers worth influencing weekly.

Personal scoreboard · Conversion reality check · Where your time actually goes

Live deal strategy

Ongoing

Working the deals in front of you: what you said, what the buyer did, and what changes in the next conversation.

Call preparation · Buying group mapping · Next-step design

Call review

Ongoing

Reviewing recorded conversations where available, and role-playing the moments that keep going wrong.

Recording review · Role play · One thing to practise between sessions

Price and self-worth

Recurring theme

The belief side of selling: what you assume about price, rejection and your own value, and how it shows up in the call.

Price conversations · Handling rejection · Negotiating without flinching

Rhythm and mechanics

Recurring theme

Calendar, follow-up discipline and preparation habits, so results stop depending on the mood of the week.

Weekly planning · Follow-up system · Preparation routine

What happens after coaching

Final sessions

Making the change durable: what you keep reviewing, who holds you to it, and what you do when a bad quarter arrives.

Self-review routine · Accountability partner · Three-month plan

Common questions

What can I bring to sales coaching?+

A live opportunity, recurring objection, negotiation concern, prospecting difficulty or pattern you want to understand more clearly.

Is this only for experienced salespeople?+

No. Your responsibilities, challenges and willingness to examine your approach matter more than your job title.

Will coaching tell me how to close a particular deal?+

It will help you examine the opportunity and plan your approach. It cannot guarantee a buyer's decision, and it should not pretend to.

How is the coaching scope decided?+

We start with your goals and examples of where you feel stuck, then agree the focus, cadence and review points before committing.
